Do i need any experience before I start?
No! Just get started. Our workouts and exercises scale to any level – from broomsticks to barbells, we’ll tailor the workout to your ability.
Do I need to be fit before I start?
No. Really. There is a common misconception that CrossFit is for elite athletes. The truth is that it is for everyone. Sure, we say that we are “forging elite fitness” and we are. This means that you start the journey where you are today. And, if you stay on our path it’s likely that you will get in to the best physical, emotional and psychical shape of your life
What makes CrossFit different than other gyms?
CrossFit is about variance and adaptation. We “program” our workouts for General Physical Preparedness, or GPP. We don’t have leg days, back- and bi- days, or cardio days. We believe the body is a whole system, and strengthen it as a whole
Can I do a taster before I join?
Yes! Before you attend an intro class at CrossFit Sunderland, you need to contact us via email firstname.lastname@example.org
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable clothes that you can train in and suitable shoes. Bring a water bottle and towel.
Am I too old/young to start CrossFit?
No, the program is adaptable for people of all ages. We have teenagers training with us, through to members in their 60’s.
Do I have to reserve my spot before coming to classes?
Yes! It is mandatory for members to reserve their spot before coming to classes. Priority is given to members who reserved online and if you show up to a maxed out class without a reservation you may have to wait for the next class.
Do you offer pay as you go classes?
No, All memberships are a monthly rolling contract
Do you have a open gym membership?
We do not offer open gym as a membership.
Can I do my own program?
No, we do not make expectations for people to carry out own programming, We expect member to participate in classes
Which methods of payment do you take?
Visa, Master card, Direct Debit, we do not accept cash payments for memberships
